My Conclusion About Enterprise Rent-A-Car:

I conclude that renting from Enterprise Rent-A-Car is a losing proposition.

My recent losses include:

• Hours of forced waiting

• Repeatedly blown schedules

• Being deliberately overcharged because I was a repeat corporate customer

• Twice being driven to other Enterprise offices, looking for a car that could fulfill my "reservation"

• Twice running out of gas within minutes of picking up a car

• Having the rental agent drive me to the gas station so he could buy gas for the car I'd just rented

• Unexpected gasoline expenses

• Unexpected insurance expenses

• Playing "The Man Without A Country", driving from parking garage to parking garage, refused entry because I was driving an unwanted giant SUV

• The insult of being repeatedly lied to
