Update: As of April, 2006, after two and a half years of our browbeating
Enterprise over the fact that their Customer Service department refused to take
phone calls from customers, they've finally caved in and published the number on
their web site here.
The number is 1-800-264-6350. It's a frequent
complaint that the local branch will refuse to correct some
appalling problem and the customer can't find any way to contact
someone higher up who's willing to take responsibility and make
things right. Not everyone can make a web site about
Enterprise after being rebuffed a dozen times (although, frankly,
I'm not sure why). Customers just want to talk with someone
who will recognize an obvious disaster and fix it.
Adding insult to this
injury, many frustrated customers spend twenty minutes on the
Enterprise web site trying
to find out how to contact Customer Service, not realizing this
information has been intentionally hidden from their web browser.
The only way to contact Customer Service is through a web form.
There's no telephone number, no fax number, no mailing address, and
no e-mail address; just a blind web form.
Even on the page in
which they boast about their
"Culture of Customer Service", they refuse to provide any
information as to how you might actually contact Customer
Service.
As a public service,
I've gathered here information about how to contact Customer Service
at the corporate headquarters. If they're blowing you off in
the branches, here's how to contact someone who may (or may not)
wish to take you more seriously.
