Reason #5: The "Your Car Is Ready But It's
Simply Not Here" Policy:
Sometimes, when you arrive to pick up your car with a confirmed
reservation, they'll cheerfully explain that your car is "ready" but that it
simply isn't present. This usually means they've not only torn up your
reservation and sent someone else driving off in your car, but they've also
rented out their entire inventory. Eventually, they'll start calling other
locations to search for another car.
Only at Enterprise Rent-A-Car can a non-existent car be
described as "ready".
Half-hour waits are common.
