| Sorry didn't read this post until today...here goes... In Canada, if you're under 25 there is a $500 deductible. Loophole: Did they make you initial the appropriate spot on the contract for the DW? In Canada there are two spots for DW..one is "Any damage over $500" and the other is "all damage". If not, they are fucked and you win. There's literally nothing they can do if you didn't initial the right spot, it's up to them to make sure you fill the contract out properly. Dropped car and it got "damaged": Not much you can do. Believe me, it sucks. This is one of the toughest ones because it's almost impossible to prove without video evidence. I always advise against dropping a car when we're not open to avoid this hassle, because it is ERAC policy worldwide that if you drop a car, you're responsible until we check it in. :/ Barring any fraudulent activity, it's on you :( Good luck proving any wrongdoing, too.. | It seems this is a common business practice for the company. I rented a Siebring from Enterprise. We did the walk around - quick as usual - they noted a few significant dents. Returned the car and this time she spent a good 10 minutes going over the car from every angle. She came back and said there was a dent - I said show me - we walked around the car and from one angle with the sun shinging at an angle there was a dent on the front fender about the size of a quarter. Of course is was not on the original claim and you could only see it from one direction which was not the direction we walked around when I picked the car up. The only advise I can give is to rent from reputable firms that are service focused - Enterprise and Discount Car and Truck (canada only) rentals do not fit in that category. Also do not rent or buy from any company with Discount in the name. |

| I totally agree with this comment. Enterprise is well known for screwing people over with regards to damage claims. There have been news articles posted in the past regarding Enterprise's methods. I refuse to rent from Enterprise, Discount, or Budget. |
