Hey,
I always liked getting a friend/family reso. Almost always I gave at least a one car upgrade. I can't count the number of times I gave an SUV for the price of an ICAR or CCAR. The rentals were not usually long, a week at most, and it was from someone who had a relative work for the company so they were in 'the ERAC family'. The customers were almost always cool because they were getting a deal. Over the years I can't remember too many that were bad. I did not have problems.
