Funny you should say that, but most of the management from Branch Manager on up all the way to the RVP do not know how to spell. My old area manager, Ken Greig GP 30W, never knew the difference between they're and their. He constantly sent out MS01's stating such things as "...there car is here...get in their and book the reservation... their are plenty of cars in the area..." and he was an area manager! I remember getting e-mails from Randy Hendershot, RVP GP 30, with horrendous spelling errors in them. Oh, and don't get me started on grammar! How the hell did they get to their level (notice the proper use of the word "their?") when they cannot even tell the difference between words that sound the same but mean different? Simply put, working for ERAC makes you stupid. Using your Bachelor's Degree to wash cars errodes your brain. If work for of are planning to work for ERAC, DON'T DO IT! YOU WILL REGRET IT! IT WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE. Seriously, if you have a family or want one, ERAC is not the place for you. ERAC is not family friendly. I can tell you horror stories about how I needed to take one of my children to the hospital for an emergency and my Branch Manager told me to have my wife do it. I had three kids. She needed help getting them all to the hospital and help while there. (again, notice the proper use of the word "there?") Not to mention that I needed to be there as a father for my child who was deathly ill. When I expressed the gravity of the situation my branch manager told me that my wife was a big girl and that she could handle it on her own. Also, if I left, they would start a "Significant Events Log," basically I would be written up.
