I started working for an insurance company as an adjustor, not making a ton of money but making about 10k/yr more. its not always about the money its about the deception and lies w/in the company. I saw so many people grill early because they were liked more not because of performance.
I lost a lot of respect with upper management because they didnt practice what they preached. I didnt want to work for a company like that.

It gets tiring hearing about all these people makikng 90-100k in sales jobs and saying they work a 40hr work week. Not in all cases but many that is probably what they told they CAN make and not what they actually are.
But then again its not always about the money, its about being happy at your job and knowing you dont have to kiss ass to move up
