Las Vegas police arrested one of their own Tuesday, saying a downtown patrol officer let a woman avoid jail in exchange for oral sex.

Holy shit, I remember when this happened and I was like, "Wow, I know that guy." For those of you that don't remember Carlos, he was indeed a very shadt cat. In fact, I believe his nickname was 'shady Carlos'. He worked as an MA forever behind Fletcher Jones Chevrolet and we used to go and pick up cars from him all the time. He was always cool to me, but you could tell that the guy was a little shady. |
Sad. I remember Carlito when he was at 22 and then 2N. He was a nice guy back then, (albeit a crazy Mexican/Patrick Swayze from Roadhouse haircut) but generally nice guy. He definitely booked the shadiest Mexican/mini-van weekend deals that I had ever seen. $200 cash paid up front, full boat, no deposit (the money down was considered the "deposit", unlimited mileage. The Vans would always come back with like 1000 - 1500 miles on it. Guy always made the sales dinner and had great sales numbers. As a police officer you have to know that if a women tries to bribe her way out of a citation w/ a little head, it always ends up bad for the cop, always (unless of course your Harvey Keitel from Bad Lieutenant). That was 2005, anyone know if he beat the case, did time, got his badge back, back at erac????
