I'm a former GP36'er. As a "Management Trainee" with ERAC, I made $10.64 an hour. We all know the type of work MT's do, and the hours involved. Working for DRAC as a rental sales agent, I make $25-$30 an hour, depending on how well I sell. Many people make $40-$50 an hour as an RSA with DRAC. We don't wash or vacuum cars, drive customers around, push papers all day, "market", recruit, sell cars, send in corporate leads, or anything else...we just write tickets and sell coverage, upgrades, etc. There are other people who do the paper chasing, marketing, recruiting, etc. It's a lot of fun, lasting only 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, I wear a company-provided Aloha shirt and khaki shorts, and I stand in an air-conditioned kiosk all day. The earliest I ever go to work is 10am, and I'm still home before most ERAC'ers get off from their 11-12 hour day. DTG doesn't have $9 billion in it's checking account like ERAC does, but they sure do write much bigger checks to their level 1 employees, which is the way it should be - pay the people who generated all that revenue.
