If you break the math down that $30,001.40/ 2,600 hours which should equal $11.5 an hour, yet I've heard from people on this site they only make $10 an hour or even less. Can anyone explain their pay scale??

You need to include the calculation of overtime, so the math equation should look like this for a year (52 weeks) assuming you are working 2,600 hours during that time period:

regular pay: 40 hours x 52 weeks = 2,080 hours

overtime pay: 2,600 hours - 2,080 hours = 520 hours

2080(x) + 520 * 1.5(x) = $30,000

$10.49/hour
