I was promoted regularly and was making good money. However in the long run I have to look at other facts and ask myself serious questions: Did I go to college to work retail? no; Is it fine to wash cars in a suit and tie in 100+ degree weather or 19 degree snow? no; Is it worth it having customers actually yell and swear at me on a regular basis? no; AM I actually running my own business? no; that last one really got me. Now seriously oh ye defenders of the E, how many of you actually run your own branch? Aside from unlocking the door and locking up at night? Anyone? If you say yes then let me ask you some questions. Can you hire, fire, promote, demote any person you want? no; Can you set the dress code? no; Can you choose to bend the rules when you see fit to get a car on the road? yes...but, if the shit hits the fan you will be the first to go. Do you have ultimate, final control over your branch, your promotability or the promotability of your employees? no. Face it, you are NOT running your own business. You are a lackey. And unless your last name is Taylor it will never be your business...ever. When you are an MT you answer to the BM, as a BM you answer to the ARM, ARM to RRM, RRm to RVP, RVP to GM, and so on. Now, will some bi E defender have a valid argument? Stay tuned for weekend update.
All you make is excuses Robert. You are laughable, no one believes you have
a wife and we really don't think you made BM at Enterprise. At Enterprise, you control your career and hopefully your branch profit/loss. Quit talking about things you know nothing about and get me a beer.
