Another thing that is interesting is reserving cars online. On Hertz/Avis websites it tells you they are sold out or that the car is not available at that branch. At least you know and can move on. On Erac's erbsite you can just make a reservation when utilization around the region is 97%. Then you have to call the cust and say we awont have the car for a few hours. They say 'whats the point of making a reservation.' At least there is some honesty with the other companies. If I rented a car only to find it wouldn't be ready for 6 hours I might be irritated too. Fuck Erac, Hertz, and Avis, I think I'll just take the bus and save gas... |
