I signed up 15 students this time. 10 part-time and 5 fulltime. With a tuition of $2500 each, it's safe to say that life is going pretty good in Cruzerland. Just do the math. It's times like these when I look back and reflect on how my life was before this.....let's see. 4 years ago: - getting up at 530am to arrive to work at 7am - scraping ice off the windshields and starting the cars up - washing cars in sub-zero weather, just to watch the soap suds freeze on the car - gettin' yelled at over the phone by Shap - making a trip to Money Mart or Cash Advance and taking an advance on my paycheque so I can afford Christmas presents - missing spending time with relatives visiting from out of town because trying to take time off during such a busy time is unheard of (I tried anyway...and got yelled at) - crappy pay, long hours....etc...etc...etc. Present Day: - getting up at 9am - arrive at the Tattoo School around 2pm - work on some tattoo designs for clients - Tattoo someone....average 5-7 tattoo per week @ $100-$200 a pop...for pocket money - Supervise students as they tattoo their clients - realize that nothing I do now doesn't even come close to feeling like work...because I enjoy it so much - taking the next 3 weeks off until the January classes start....because I can Life is definitely better for me after E.
