Kind of sucks to have to work your way UP to that. His best option, coming from someone who put in five years, is get the degree, use ERAC as income til done, then go find a new career. The three years on the resume will open a lot of doors. Add the completed degree in, and minimum you are looking at same pay, 40 hours, incredibly less stress. Or you find something actually good, and make a lot more money. Lots of employers scour Monster, Jobing, and CareerBuilder looking for former ERACers. I have hired six myself. Anyone that can do that for more then a year or two either has a crazy work ethic, or is psycho. Tell him to use it to his adavantage, then go make some real money |
