Just like so many other dolts out there you have no idea what your insurance covers on a rental car. Anyone that rents a car needs to contact their agent to find out what they will be responsible for in the event of damage. I can just hear you telling the poor MIT who put you in the car "My insurance will cover it". You a fool for renting and driving a car without some kind of protection.
