Update: Maureen Ringrose, senior loss coordinator for Group 48, said in her letter that ERAC would turn my “bill” over to a collection agency on Feb. 20. It’s March 8 and I have not gotten a call or letter from anyone. I planned to return to the attorney if I ever did but it seems someone in Group 48 got some sense or they are being slow or they were bluffing. In any case, I stood my ground and am glad I did. |
