Re: I was fired for this sending an email!!! The primary question is, is this the first time that you have been "insubordinate"? E preaches that we should always complain up, not down, and that is exactly what you did, so you're in the right there, it is just a matter of how much other documentation they have on you. Did you ever have a sit down about any significant events, or sign anything agreeing that you had a conversation w/ management about anything; anything noted in reviews, ect. Policy is generally to address and have documentation on the same issue w/ the same employee at least 3 times (verbal warning, SEL documentation, and immediate correction notification) prior to termination. As far as a law suit is concerned, doubtful you have grounds depending on what state you work in (at will or not) and the fact that Enterprise does not like to fire people, so when it does, they generally have all their ducks in a row to cover their butts.
