I honestly had to stop reading your post halfway through because you customers are all the same. To clarify your statement, it was NOT the fault of the employee to write down the address and location of the dropping branch you were planning on going to (although it would have been helpful of the employee to do that without you asking) but is infact your fault for not asking the employee for the address and then asking him to write down the address on the contract. Here's a newsflash for you, Enterprise employees cannot read minds, who's to say that you weren't a local resident or a frequent traveler in tha area and knew your way around? The problem in this case is that instead of you clarifying things with someone at Enterprise you decided to just make assumptions that turned out to be wrong at which point you have come to the conclusion that it's all Enterprise's fault and you did everything correctly.

I love how you dropped the car off at Hertz and expected them to handle the rental for you, good work. Shame on Enterprise for not dropping everything that they were doing to handle your situation, you were calling everyday to ask if they had picked up the car, right? Oh, I almost forgot, you squared things away with Hertz and the Security guard, its ridiculous that Enterprise didn't have things handled within a few hours.

What probably happened with Hertz is that the keys were probably thrown away by a Hertz employee (I would have done the same if a Hertz customer dropped of their car at Enterprise and then claimed to have never received them). Enterprise, in order to get their car back, had to get new keys cut. Since there was a chance of someone having keys to the car and that it could easily be sloten, a new ignition and door locks had to be installed to make the old set of key useless.

Let this be a less and a reminder that Enterprise, nor 99.9999% of the people on the planet cannot read minds. Enterprise answered the exact question you asked which was "I rented a car in Edimburgh on May 29th 2007 and ask the salesman if it was possible to drop the car in Glasgow two days later" His response was "Yes." A great follow up by your part would have been "That's great, do you have their address handy and their phone number available for me to contact them if need be?" Then the night before the return of the rental car you make a call to the dropping branch to say "I am dropping a vehicle off at your location, could I please get directions on how to get to your office?" You're assumptions and half assed efforts cost you big time in the end.

But then again, you Candians are a little slow, Eh. Or is it A Boot something else. Loser.
