Hi :) I am responding to your post. I car-prepped for 5 months in a rental branch up north, was NOT drugtested, only background checked. BM, Asst. Mgr, Area mgr. and most MT's were pretty cool to work with, rarely spared with remarks how appreciated I was and what a good job I was doing and often times - more then others ! - got cream-puff driving assignments ;) ... having said that, be nevertheless prepared to have/get some real LOWLIFE/Scum of the earth co-worker car-preps who are pure trash, use t h e foulest language you have EVER heard, slack off on the job/run the clock/do a very lousy job cleaning the cars/are on their cellphones non-stop, make your life miserable if you do a better job and get kudos from management, the list goes on and on. In my case, it became so bad with 3 co-worker car preps at Branch 1, I requested and was immediately granted a transfer by the Area Mgr. (a terrific person, I hope he reads this !!!!) to another branch nearby for only 6 weeks before my following transfer to another state came due. At this Branch2, the BM, AM and MT's again treated me like gold for the work I produced and the dependable employee I was. Here I also had several very cool co-workers I became friends with and also made several more friends at nearby Branch 3. I hope they are reading this because they were terrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrific people !

Either look at the car-prep job as a means to make a few extra dollars/get car rental benefits, etc., or, if you intend to make it longer term, PLEASE the BM and AM at the branch and stand your ground with the MT's, car prep co-workers and take NO CRAP from anyone, this is how you make your mark at ERAC as car-prep.

I actually had fun on the job because I love dirt :) and love to clean, always opted in to clean the dirtiest cars which reaped me high rewards from Management !

I am no longer with ERAC because after my transfer to and working in another state, things went very very sour very soon and ERAC and I parted company .... but I did meet some terrific people whom I would have otherwise never met had it not been for a l l of us working at ERAC .. most of them are also long gone by now.

Many blessings and good luck on the job to you ... respond if I can be of any other help to you :) :)
