There was also not light on this side of the car. I had to exchange the car the following day because the inside had also not been cleaned and contained an array of offensive odors, stains, and rubbish (including an ashtray full of butts and a backseat covered in animal hair). When I returned the car to the nearest location I was advised of a ding in the windshield and a small dent on the side not originally documented (where I had wiped the dirt from). On his behalf and my own it was raining and dark outside, but he did not even use a flashlight when checking. I do not want to held responsible for pre-existing damage because I did not profread his work for him! I have been researching lawyers and related litigation against Enterprise since I left and I am looking for any advise people reading are willing to give. |
Hello .. I am a former ERAC employee and read with interest your posting on here ... an ERAC employee is trying to royally screw you over for something they botched and are trying to CYA .. all I can say is this: get a name and phone number for an area manager and try to straighten this out ... do not forget to mention that "your attorney" will intervene if need be ... you can ONLY get things done with ERAC if you involve legal counsel .. yes it will cost you some money .. but is your integrity not worth it ???
Another piece of advice: rent from Hertz in the future ..
Be blessed, good luck and VIGOROUSLY PRESS FORWARD !!!!!!!!!!!
