I worked with Scott Brown, Dave Beauchamp, and Ricky Stoakley. I worked total time for the company of 6 1/2 years. I really thought that Enterprise was going to be my retirment career. Didn't work out that way. 1834 is a hole...a very deep dark forgotten hole. Sure, i was not the best employee. I sold shady waiver, ghost upsells, full boat for 13.99...I did it all. I never got caught, thankfully. I also tried to make my numbers legit. I was one of those whiners you all like to talk about. As opposed to not being able to hack it, I got tried of the bullshit and moved on. I greatly disliked jason Passarell as a manager. I don't think he is a morally bad person. his job required him to be a slimeball. Enterprise requires all their emloyees to be slimeballs. Most everyone I have worked for and with I truly liked and cared for. I have nothing bad to say about ANYONE CURRENTLY WORKING FOR 18E. I think Jason could have done alot of things different, but he choose not to, in order to avoid a confortation. Whatever. I think that Enterprise does one thing really well. That one thing is to train people and show them what the real world, CAN, be like. Long miserable hours, rude ignorant customers. Uncaring upper management, unless you screw up. Whatever. What i do know is that I am now working for a great company. As for my little brother. he played the game good. Apparently too good. he got caught, let it go. he has a great career elsewhere. Jason and arney and gibeau screwed him. they made an example of him, and made sure it would be very difficult for him to get a job elsewhere. oh well. as for the rest of the managers I worked with, they all moved on to great careers and i keep in touch with them all. they are all happy they left enterprise and moved on to more promising careers. enterprise across the bridge is a great place. here on the shore it sucks. I have worked at both, so i can speak with some authority on that matter. the employee moral on the shore sucks. maybe getting rid of pass will help. i doubt it. why do the upper managers only come down here when shit is really bad? why do you not hear from arney and james unless your in trouble? why does kc never make it to the shore? they don't care about it. i forsee 1834 being shut down and the whole 18e region being absorbed into the annapolis area. until the upper managers start to care, and i mean REALLY CARE ABOUT 18E EMPLOYEES, nothing will change. that my rant, and I will not come back to this website. I have shaken eprise dust off my boots, and look forward to a lifelong career with my current caring employer. It is amazing how much my attitude has changed since i started working here. i actually want to make my manager and district manager proud of me. imagine that. |
