Default Re: age you left at

I left at 23 and I would rate my joy at leaving only second to my wedding day.
It was actually funny, I was an intern there and because my boss was bad at math and I studied accounting, she let me do the accounting for the branch (which is not very complicated but was more fun then renting cars).
One day, she said to me, "You know, you should really be an accountant"

You can guess what I ended up doing...

I can say that I did not waste too much of my life there, however, three months was long enough to know it wasn't for me.

I remember telling the manager (pate wade, supposedly somebody important in MN but to be honest, I never cared to find out ) that it just was not for me and he said "what do you mean, who is it for then?" I very frankly said, "I don't know, someone without many other options I guess". He was a bit miffed about that but whatever.

I don't even list them on my resume' to tell you the truth. Sometimes, when I'm having a rough day at work I just drive over to the branch and watch them run around like chickens with their heads cut off.

Really wish I would have found this site earlier. I did not do anything cruel or mean when I left, I just left, and like someone who has been a POW, tried to forget about it...
