Enterprise was definitley a small step in my carrer path. Right out of school I moved to a new city and fell into the HYPE of the green machine. It was a job, a crappy job, but hey it was a little experience to get me going. I didnt want to get stuck there for too long for fear of getting sucked in and spit out years later, with nothing to show for it other than knowing how to rent cars. 7 months was more than enough for me. I will admit though, the long hours and hard worked prepared me for pretty much anything (nothing could be worse) I now work for a very profitable logistics company. The hours are awesome the pay is great and I have worked my way up the ladder. Yes believe it or not other companies actually offer REAL opportunities for advancement as a reward for hard work.

The most important thing that i did learn at enterprise was how to treat the employees that I now manage. I took everything at Enterprise and do the exact opposite. It is amazing how people react when they are treated fairly, are rewarded for work preformed, are treated with respect, and can honestly come to you with questions and concerns.

There is a difference between "couldn't hack it" and being smart and skilled enough to not want to hack it . . . a huge difference.
