I am in CA and not there are a ton of events, but I am invited to most that aren't ERAC exclusive. Unfortunately you learn the lingo and feel just as much of a disgruntled employee as everyone else. The crazy part is that my husband has been "spoken to" about my attendance at events. The area manager gets on his case for me not attending. His explanation is that he sees my husband more than me and that I need to be involved to know what my husband is a part of. And what is he a part of??? A CULT! Really, ERAC is a cult! Scary. Bleed green.
