All of those numbers we have to meet are ridiculous! I've never worked at a place where doing your job correctly counts against you. My favorite thing to do now is release calls instead of calling helpdesk or AAA. I agve up on ESQI after the 2004 holiday season. All of these procrastinating assholes want airport rentals at the last minute, and get pissed when you are sold out. Are they going to give you the coveted "5"? Not a chance. Then every other day you have to listen to your supervisor spew some bullshit about "ending the call with a strong closing". They think that by doing this you will get a five. "I'm sorry, we're sold out for the next 2 weeks. What I can do is tell you to have a nice day and keep us in mind for the future". Bullshit! I also love having some 21 year old former frat boy who has never had a real job lecture me about how to do MY job. Ah yes, I'm talking about the supers and MTs at NATRES. And I thought I was wasting my degree. At least I don't plan on making this a career. Fuck ESQI, productivity and yield! They are all bullshit excuses to terminate employees and keep that high turnover a rollin'.
