What a load of bull (in my opinion)..I have been offered a contract but it bears little resemblance to what I was told at the assessment/interview. On current pay scales hourly wages work out to around £5.60/5.70 per hour and I think overtime is paid at this rate as well and this is for "48-55 hrs" per week typically,not the 45 you're told at assessment day.
Promotion to Assistant Manager requires 55-60 hrs per week.
If you don't believe me go to the assessment/interviews ..wait for the postie coming up the drive. You will have chance to get your shoes/coat on to meet him as he struggles under the weight of the contract.
I sound bitter don't I...and this is less than 2 weeks from being overjoyed at being offered a position. I have been in employment and had several jobs over my career so far, but never have I seen a contract like this one..15 signatures...nice
