... for "48-55 hrs" per week typically,not the 45 you're told at assessment day.
Promotion to Assistant Manager requires 55-60 hrs per week.

And by signing that you accept these hours you exempt yourself from the Working Time Directive.

Oh, and by the way, overtime is only paid when the manager doesn't take hours off of your timesheet. I know Area Managers that do that too...
