Can't say onions is mine entirely, as I am pretty sure I had heard it somewhere else and incorporated it into my witty repotoire, but I also can't say that it's a regionalism. Down here in South Florida you are more likely to hear someone say "juevos" than onions in reference to their beanbag I am sure. By the way, great site.
