I was a manager so it was different from what you would be doing but essentially you'd wash cars (in a suit in all weather) delive it/pick up an irate customer because you're running late. Then try and sell them into a bigger car which they woulod have to take because there are no other cars anyway, or convince a granny that she really wants to try out the latest Ford Transit.m You'd run arouund like a blue arsed fly because all the cars you have on the lot have been sold and you can't rent them. Then you'd have to wait til 8 at night and repossess a car so you could rent it the next day.

Then repeat.

Trust me hun, it ain't worth it.

Best idea is this: If you have any (and I mean ANY) financial acumen, work woth a company that offers graduate ACMA accountancy training. there has been a real shortfall in recruitment abnd investment for that qualification for years and when you have qualified (in around 3-4 years after graduation) you will be earning around £35k + a car.

Trust me - I've seen the amount these guys are paid and most of them are...well.. a bit dopey.
