The worst deal I've ever rolled was a Leased Fleet Car. It was dropped at our office at a time where NO ONE had cars for about 2-3 weeks. I'm tlaking weekend we were sitting 95+% occupancy. I had two people left and one woman absolutely could not go the night and the enxt day without a car. I wrote an incomplete contract and rented her the Fleet Ford Focus that was dropped at our lot. Less than 24 hours later I had her switched into a real car that Enterprise actually owned. I told my manager to leave and I'd find a solution, that way he had nothing to do with it if the deal shat on us...I was only a Trainee and figured I could get off with a warning. Ah, those were the days. |
