Re: ERAC health & saftey violations; Nearly all the branches in U4 are totally inadequate, in terms of Health and Safety, i have only been with the company 6 months and i understand that numerous and more established employees have tried to address and resolve these issues, which are satatury requirments of any company, to no avale. I am sure you will agree that the health and safety of all employees and the general public are paromount, i have therfore taken this matter into my hands, whislt i was trying to keep my actions hush hush, i feel you all should know that i have been meeting with health and safety officials based in Shefield since August 2005, to discuss the ongoing issues and to provide them with evidence, as you can imagine this is very time consuming, not to mention my own financial position. I can assure you that at least 6 locations are under investigation and visted reguarly by officials who pose as rental customers, action will be taken place during the months of February and March 2006, if no improvements are made. I have also being informed that 2 of the vehicles which they rented including a V2, turned out to have noticeble defects. The HSE has refered these incidents to the Vehicle & Operator Services Agency ( VOSA ) for their attention, also during there rental experience on 3 occasions, they noticed several breaches involving data protection issues, this incident has been refered to the Information Commisionaire and also to the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association ( BVRLA. ) I Hope that this reasures you and that this is infomation is seen by Higher Management and acted upon immediatly.
