All companies want their branches to make a profit. And if you are a manager that is not making a profit - then you better know how to live on your salary only. That is why we make bonuses, not commission. You get paid a bonus for an office that performed above standards. I love this – it makes it a challenge. And I still know what I will bring home, even if I was commission based I would not rely on the commission check – there are not guarantees to anything but a pay check in any company. I have seen very little turn over in my 2 years working with Hertz. I have the same staff since I started. I have seen a lot of promotions and a lot of ex-ERAC come work for us in these last two years. That in it’s self should say something to ERAC.

I don’t know what Hertz Corporation long term ideas about losses versus profit. You have to remember we are a public company and we have all of that to look at also. We have shareholders and board of directors who look at this stuff. Our Parent company is Ford Motor Company and with their track record, I believe they will know what is best as we go. I have never thought about that aspect of it.
