First and foremost remember that we are a corporation and we have rules. The policies and procedures were created for a reason. Just because you might think they are wrong doesn’t mean they haven’t proved themselves (the rules) in the past.
Also, remember like any job your going to have days that you are very excited and you are going to have days that you wonder why you are there. Hertz doesn’t throw lavish drinking parties, they don’t buy you Christmas gifts…but they do tell you thank you for your achievements – the old fashioned way. By a letter or phone call and a pat on the back.
&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Sales, customer service, the tourist side and insurance replacement will get to you at times also. But, take it in stride. The hours will get to you also – you will work 45-50 no matter what level you are. But, I have never ever heard of you not getting paid for them and we always find a way for our employees to take lunch – the funny thing is I have to fight my employees to leave the office and go somewhere. They like being there.
