The one thing that stands out to me during this entire conversation is, you could start off as an MT then end up with a manager that has never even worked for the company before the day he walks through the front door of your office. I have pointed out before that one of the ways for Enterprise to increase their retention would be to hire people that have absolutely no better opportunities as 'ticket writers' and this looks to be a perfect example. HLEManager, how did the people that had been putting in all the hard work and effort feel when you walked into their office as an assistant manager? Do they simply know they aren't promotable from the start, or are they given some false hope they won't be just writing tickets their whole lives? |
