That "it's who you blow" comment is so true. I have seen a lot of cover-ups in my time. Things you wouldn't even believe. As long as you are making money upper management will do anything to keep you. Why wouldn't they. If you were a city manager and had a manager making killer profit do you really care how they are doing it. As long as you can not be tied to any of their unethical behavior why question it. However once you upset too many people or word gets to loss control you're done. Come on I'm sure you can think of a few people who were fired/quit in the past 2 years for this kind of thing???
