I still work for ERAC, though not in rental anymore, Im one of those "loser" who couldnt hack it, :)

Anyway, earlier this year my wife gave birth to a stillborne child, full term 9 months into her pregnancy. I have no other children and was soooo looking forward to this child, the new ight of my life. So a week before her due date the baby passed in the womb. We were devestated, and to this day, 4 months later, we still are! My reason for bitching is: after the death, I couldnt work, I am the man in the relationship, so like preg. leave, I guess they thought I wasnt deserving of time off. So I was out for 2 months, used all of my sick and vac time, as of now I have no days left this year until in Dec. Thats OK, thats my business. Anyway, while I was out, grieving, I called the VP of the Area, the highest rank aroun d and wasw talking with him about my absence and that I have no days left, in short, I just wanted to be sure I still had a job. I was in touch with my branch everyweek I was oput though. So the VP says to me, "Take you time, your family and your well bieng are whats important right now, your job will be here for you, we want to retain people like you" almost verbatim what he said. So 1 week later I go back to work, I was met with an MS01, or Erac Email, from the regional VP and HR head, they wanted to meet with me later this week. I figure that they want to see if Im OK, talk to me about it, my loss......NO WAY>.......they wrote me up and had me sign a commitment letter to the company, and I did.....and I still wortk here....I have been here almost 3 years and have a great track record with absenses. They friggin wrote me up for being out GREIVING. Anyway, I told them at the meeting that I was going to get married in Aug. this Aug. and Ill need a week off, they said to me "GREAT< thats positive time off, no problem" SO im totally confused---I can take off to get married with no sick or vaca days, but god forbid someone dies..

I hate it here, the first job offer I get, its SCRAM for me. The care about money and thats it, why do you think the colors are GREEN.
