I need to know if claims with Better Business Bureau or the Attorney General are useful and how to initiate these.

ECRAP has one of the worst rattings with the BBB and have been sued by several states attorney general.

This opps you scratched our car trick is common. Either a employee or customer damaged the car and they just wait to pass it on to the next person that rents the car without waiver. They are also know to take a car back damaged WITH waiver and not dicument it (so repair costs do not come out of their pockets) and pass the cost to the next customer.

Avoid all dealings with them!!
