Okay, this story just gets stranger as we go along.

Now, the employee was on his smokebreak, correct? I'm assuming he was standing somewhere outside on Enterprises' property while doing so. After you park the vehicle, he then states he saw you driving at a high rate of speed. What is he claiming, exactly? That you turned into the parking lot so quickly the tires chirped? What other opportunity would he have to observe your driving other than the maximum couple hundred feet or so before you enter their lot?

You rented in Waco, but how many total miles did you put on the vehicle? If not an excessive amount, wouldn't that bolster your claim of not being able to "wear out the tread" on four tires? Also, you complained of a smoke smell in the vehicle when you picked it up, yet was apparently gone when you returned it in "better condition". Did you detail it yourself while you had it? After prepping literally thousands of cars myself, I know all too well that cigarette smoke in the apholstery doesn't disappear on it's own, it has to be scrubbed out.

Look, I'm not calling you a liar, I DO believe there was a dispute between yourself and the Waco branch. But I'm 95% certain there are elements of this story that remain untold.
