And it's true, especially if you're in an area (like Ottawa) that has a lot of branches and the opportunity for advancement. There are some downfalls, but aren't there in any job? It's a great place if you're looking to get more management experience, have an interest in sales and you're willing to put in lots of hours. There are people out there that have been working for ECARS for a decade or more. There are others who have decided that it isn't their idea of a career, and have left within the first two years. If you do get offered the job and accept it, just be on top of your training. Pester your manager if need be to ensure you are getting your training, and don't be afraid to reach out to other people for help. Good luck! |
