I understand there was a lot of chatter in the Admin office in Jacksonville (Group 43) about a Level 3 candidate from North Carolina being the best, with the best numbers, the best packet and the best interview, but gay. Inadvertantly the North Carolina candidate did not get the position (Loss Control Manager), instead the second best candidate got it. Something the North Carolina GM had said to someone I believe steered that decision. But I believe in Florida and North Carolina it is legal to discriminate on sexual preference so good for Enterprise for expressing there legal rights to discrimate on sexual orientation, but I believe it is against the Company policy.
