Re: Glad it is over! 43 is doomed No that's part of it but not all. When a friend of mine applied for a job his previous employer told the new place about his condition. He ended up sueing them and won, for 2 reasons. 1st in my state at least the only information an employer is only allowed to give is dates of employment and if you left voluntarily. They can't even say you were fired. 2nd the judge said that medical information shared with an employer is private and confidential. I talked to him tonight and he did tell me the judge ruled it as a HIPAA violation. |
