The answer is simple --- the myth of the big payout. I am a recent ERAC hireling, and just recieved my first paycheck. I actually grossed $1300 dollars but only took home 75% of it. My branch manager makes almost 90k per year, and has only been with the company five years. My area manager will make close to $150k this year, and has only been with ERAC four years.

I recently purchased a new vehicle. My car payment is about $450 per month, for a duration of six years. By the time I pay it off, I will likely be a Branch Manager making three or four times what I am making now.

My father is a professional with a doctorate degree and he only makes about $120k per year. In five or six years, I might surpass his annual income with only a Bachelor's Degree.

I get my hour lunch break every day, and only work one or two Saturdays per month. I spend most of my time driving around new vehicles (even Cadillacs) and meeting all sorts of interesting people. Everyone at my job is hilarious, my BM is pretty laid back, and my AM acts like everyone's older brother. Even my RRM is approachable, and company functions are awesome. The hours are long, but they are anything but tedious.

Sure, I could go to Law School, or Business school, or even get a Ph.D. and become a college professor. But that would require more debt, more studying, and the end result (at best) would be equivalent to my potential at ERAC.
You should change your handle from Captain Obvious to Captain Dipshit. Ofcourse you think you just landed the best job in the world. And to no surprise did you eat up that load of crap about how much they make. Pretty soon you will be faced with a short staffed branch and find out how its like to shove a slice of pizza down your through while driving off to do a pick up, and still make you clock out an hour because they bought the pizza out of the T&E account. You are a worth less fuck that thinks he is going to spend the rest of his life at ERAC. Well let me tell you that the odds are against you and even if you do make it up to BM you will have lost so much time making chump change that it will take you much longer to break even there than to get your degree. You are a fucking flammer and think that you have taken the carpool lane to success by becoming an ERAKIAN. Further more you prick I now work for a company that does not require a college degree and made over 50K my first year there. Moreover, I am now in management making even more than that. All within a year. I hope you keep writing quotes here and cant wait to see your tone of words as the summer rolls by and you are baking in the hot asfault with your suit on and your shoes all worn out.
