The GM has burned through somewhere in the neighborhood of 15-16 upper level management positions, most were ones that he HIRED and paid for the relocation to have brought to his group. At Enterprise, if you keep firing the people you don't like, Corporate thinks your being proactive about changing your piss poor number (Group 43 is barely above breakeven) and you buy yourself some time. Ultimately, though, at the Big E what goes around comes around and you, too, Chip, will be axed, leaving you with plenty of time to seek counseling for your "short man syndrome". Good luck, squirt. |
