Re: C3 Stories I wonder sometimes about what I do for a living... it's sad; what we put up with. No one should be expected to put up with the s*&% we need to take from our customers and referal sources on a daily basis (I agree with the "customer is always right" philosophy but their has to be a limit) . I have only been with the company for just over a year and I have seen some great people leave. Really amazing people, which Enterprise has failed. My favorit part about Enterprise bashing (if you will...) is to think about our best slogan; never over promiss. Well, what about all the over promisses I have had... A great management training program, a crash course MBA, run your own business, take control of your career. --now, let's analize-- The management training program is pathetic unless you know nothing about business. Enterprise will teach you the basics but since we need a college or university degree we already know them. I have tried to describe similar ways of doing things (or have just changed the terminoligy) and have been told I'm wrong, do it the "Enterprise way." (I chuckled to myself) We'll teach you all about marketing, HA! I would love to see either an MIT, MA, AM, BM, or AM write a marketing plan and try to sell it to an investor. I'd pay hard earned money for that. Visiting referals, cold calling, sales calls, handing out coffe may be part of a marketing mix or part of the action plan but it is not teaching someone a sound understanding of marketing. Ok, I'm just getting started and can go on for hours so I should just end this in saying I am going to start searching for a new career. Thanks for listening, My name |
