I know how the system works, having been employed by the Big E for many years. I don't think that the firing was a corporate motivated move, Fleet Services corporate doesn't control things behind the scenes quite the way rent-a-car corporate does. Chip, in my opinion, doesn't know how to turn the group around so as a result, he is going to fire everyone in hopes that he'll get lucky and bring in someone who will. I don't know anything about a Vickery scandal that led to the firing.
