Re: Sex @ "54" Really I am wrong. Again what you said was exactly what a good sales person would do. That has nothing to do with a good manager. I did have Top ESQi, and OP in my group. I was consistently the number one branch with all not just a few but all of my employees in the top of the matrix. I had 100% retention never lost one employee in 5 years of ERAC management. As a manager I had 9 employees promoted to assistants. All of them went on to become managers. 3 of them are now area managers. As an area manager I had 4 managers promoted to area manager. 1 in my group and 3 in others. I am not a great sales man. I am a good one but not great. What I am good at is developing people into great managers. I am great at it. My employees took care of my accounts because I trained them well. My employees stayed with the company because I treated them well even if the company sometimes didn't. My employees treated their customers well because they were happy. My average ESQi as a manager thats 2 years was 85 and I never once dropped below 82. The area I took over started at a 73 six month average. The next six month average was 84. By time I left my area ESQi was 87 and not one branch was below an 85. When you have accomplished this in the ERAC work environment you can tell me something but until then don't spout ERAC propaganda about salesmen are good managers it's just not true. Any other company will tell you this. |
