The overall point was C2 is struggling. If the group is not making OP then no gets promoted and TP will eventually lose his job. He will not get promoted on good flip numbers.
Marketing manager is a stepping stone to City manager. IF MM does it the other way around it's a demotion.
Plus, if MM is making more money as a marketing manager in C1 then that is further proof that C2 sucks. (thanks for making my point)
If you are making money, good for you. But C2 is still performing badly and retention is horrible.
