Because they rent dirt cheap. Try doing an online reservation with about a 10 day lead time for one or two days AFTER a major holiday at an AIRPORT location. You will often get cars under $80/week and SUVs under $140/week. Since they have an abundance of cars, you can figure on them having the car. You will be able to renew the contract for usually up to 6 months at that price! If you rent from the Atlanta area, you will be able to drive the car anywhere in the country.
