You mentioned how their pay is based off a whole city, etc. Trust me, the more income that's out there, the smaller your actual comm % is. I was a BM and made a decent percentage. When I moved up to ARM, my area generated plenty of income but my percentage was SIGNIFICANTLY SMALLER. The pay increase from BM to ARM was TINY. Didn't make me feel like I was actually successful. |
Fair enough, I envisioned my ARM making about 80-90k on average...my BM makes about 40-45k/year depending on flip, which in the maritimes SUCKS right now. (some branches last year made 300+ on flip only to see it go down to like 50 this month) I can't wait until I made commission, though, then the whole "agency theory" problem will go away ;)
