Anyone with a shred of street smarts will pick up on eracs pipe dream of extreme success. I personally realized it on the third day of training when the "virtual mba" program was explained to me and how the training we will recieve will help us even if we look for "different jobs". For a company to admit that their retention level is so low during the first week of training is something to behold. The work itself could be best described as slave-like, monotonous, elementary, trivial, ridiculous and simply an uphill battle in which the top of the hill is unreachable. Although you do learn an incredible amount of valuable information in an extremely short amount of time, the question I raise is WHY? Why would somebody subject themselves to a high stress- low yeild environment when the ultimate payoff is a little more yeild coupled with alot more stress. When employees are grinded and grinded day in and day out in a ridiculous setting most of the pearls will eventually leave the oyster. TJW is a great guy with a great business sense yet when it comes down to the LITTLE THINGS that matter he reminds me of R2D2. Maybe if he actually realized that most people will not take pride in their work unless they are creating work that is rewarding.
